Frequently asked questions about delivery
Delivery status
For most products, the rule is: order before 23:59, delivered tomorrow! We always indicate the fastest possible delivery or pickup time for your product on the product page, in the shopping cart, and during checkout.
The delivery time of your product depends on available stock and the delivery option you choose.
- For standard delivery, if you order before 23:59, your order will be delivered the next day. Some products, such as pre-orders or items delivered from one of our stores, may have a different delivery time.
- For the ‘Same Day Delivery’ option, if you order before 13:00, your order will be delivered to your home the same day. These orders are delivered from a store near you.
- For pickup at one of our stores, if the product is in stock and you order during store opening hours, we’ll have it ready for you within 30 minutes. If the product is not in stock, it will be shipped from our central warehouse to the store, which takes 1–2 days.
We will keep you updated on the most current status of your order via your account and by email.
Due to weather conditions such as snow and icy conditions, it may take longer for your order to arrive. Please check your track & trace for the latest delivery status of your product(s).
In the order overview in your account, you'll find the most up-to-date status of your package. Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, the Track & Trace code will be added there as well.
Check the delivery status of your order
Did you place an order without an account? For example, as a guest or from a store. Then we will keep you informed via email.1. Order confirmation
You will first receive an "order confirmation" with an overview of the product(s) you ordered. At this point, your order has been successfully received by our warehouse or store.
2. Shipping or pickup confirmation
Depending on your chosen delivery option, you will receive a different type of "shipping confirmation."
Home delivery (by appointment)
Once everything is packed and handed over to our carrier, you will receive an email stating that your order has been shipped. This email includes a link to the Track & Trace, allowing you to follow the shipment and get an estimate of the delivery time. This email is often sent late in the evening when we hand over everything to our carrier.Pickup in-store
Once your products are ready at your selected store, you will receive an email stating that your order is ready for pickup. You can then collect your order using this email.Delivery from a store
If your product is not in stock at our central warehouse, it will be shipped from a MediaMarkt store. In that case, you will not receive a shipping confirmation with Track & Trace from us, but from our carrier.3. Invoice
Once your order has been shipped or picked up, you will receive a separate email with your invoice.
The delivery driver will deliver the package to your neighbours (for orders up to €100), or otherwise to a nearby pickup point. You will receive a card with information about the location of your package.
For large items, such as a fridge, washing machine or TV, you will receive an email from the carrier on the day of delivery with the expected delivery time. Through the scheduling tool in this email, you can change the delivery date. After two failed delivery attempts, the product will be returned to our warehouse. The order will be automatically cancelled, and the refund process will begin immediately. The refund typically takes about 8 working days.

You can have your order delivered to an address in the Netherlands or pick it up at one of our MediaMarkt stores.Home delivery
Depending on the size of the products, we deliver your order by letterbox post or parcel delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot specify this in advance.Large products such as washing machines, fridges, and TVs (from 55") are delivered to your doorstep by default. In apartment buildings without a lift, we deliver up to the 4th floor. If desired, we can take your old device with us, provided it is clean, dry, and disconnected at the front door.

Choose your preferred delivery moment. You can schedule up to 14 days in advance. In addition to selecting a specific day, you can also pay for a smaller time slot of 2 to 4 hours (e.g. in the evening between 17:00 and 21:00). Order in one box
We do our best to deliver your entire order in one box and in one go. Sometimes, however, it may be necessary to split a delivery (for example, because it is delivered by two different carriers).You can order your product(s) in our webshop and pick them up at one of our MediaMarkt stores. To do this, choose ‘Pick up in store’ when completing your order. If the product is in stock and you order during opening hours, we’ll have it ready for you within 30 minutes.
If the product is not directly in stock, it will first be sent from our central warehouse to the store. This usually takes 1–2 days.Letter post and parcel post orders are sent to you following the standard procedure. Large products such as washing machines, fridges, and TVs (larger than 55") that are delivered via our transport service are delivered to the distribution centre for your island. In such cases, we ask you to contact the distribution centre yourself to schedule a delivery appointment.

Service with delivery
When you buy a product from the MediaMarkt webshop or in a MediaMarkt store, you can have it delivered to your home or office.
Standard delivery (Free)
Large products such as white goods, kitchen appliances and televisions are delivered free of charge up to the threshold of your home. Here’s what you can expect:- Delivery up to the 4th floor if no elevator is present.
- Delivery to the threshold of your front door.
- Collection of your old appliance, provided it is empty, dry, clean and disconnected, and ready at the threshold of your home.
For small products, this delivery takes place at the threshold of your home or through letterbox delivery.
Note: Products that require additional connections such as gas, Perilex connection or track switch connection require an additional paid service. The above does not apply to American-style refrigerators.
Placement and connection in accordance with RIVM guidelines (€24.95)
This is included in this service:- Delivery up to the 4th floor if no elevator is present. (Not applicable to American-style refrigerators)
- Unpacking of the appliance and return of packaging material.
- Placing the appliance at the desired spot and connecting it.
- Connecting to existing and accessible power and water connections. (Note: connection to a track switch, gas line or Perilex outlet is not included.)
- Collection of your old appliance, provided it is empty, dry, clean, disconnected and ready for transport.
- Checking that your new appliance functions properly.
Delivery and installation services
Large products, such as washing machines, dryers, and televisions, can be placed, installed and connected for you. You can select this service on the product page or in your shopping cart during the checkout process. Up-to-date information about these services and prices can be found on the delivery and installation services page.Choose one of the delivery and installation services? Then make sure the product is ready on the agreed delivery day. The installation can only happen if the following conditions are met:
You have the possibility to have your old white or brown goods taken away. Ensure that the product is:
- Empty and clean (removal of food, etc.)
- Fully disconnected
- Intact
- Ready for transport
An old device can be taken away by our delivery service. The device must be ready for transport:
- Empty, clean and dry (free of, for example, ice and food residue)
- Fully disconnected
- Intact
- Ready for transport
Note: This does not apply to small appliances. Here you can check whether you can give your small device to the parcel deliverer from PostNL. If you pick up your order at a PostNL location, you can hand in your item there directly.

Change delivery appointment
In some cases, you can change the delivery address via the email you receive from the carrier.
If this is not possible, we ask you to fill in the contact form and provide both the old and new address details.
Enter the email address you used when placing the order. We cannot guarantee that we can change the delivery address, but we will do our best to arrange it with the carrier.

You can change the delivery time via the email you receive from the carrier. If this is no longer possible because the carrier is already on the way or the schedule has already been set, then we can no longer change it for you either.
