The warranty conditions specify your rights and obligations during and after the warranty period. No provision in the warranty conditions may limit your statutory warranty. Statutory warranty means that a product must be or do what the consumer may reasonably expect from it.
Warranty
The warranty period varies by manufacturer and by product. As long as your product is under warranty, the manufacturer or importer guarantees that it will function properly under normal use. If a product breaks while still under warranty, we will first try to repair it or supply a missing part free of charge within a reasonable time. If this is not possible, we will refund (part of) the purchase amount.
Limited warranty
Some parts or products have a shorter warranty period, such as rechargeable batteries, beamer lamps and solar equipment lamps.
No warranty
Defects caused by normal wear and tear, external damage (sand, fall or moisture damage), improper use, or lack of maintenance are not covered by warranty.
Seller’s warranty
As the seller, we are legally obliged to deliver products that meet the expectations you may reasonably have as a consumer.
Your rights during the warranty period
Free repair
If a product breaks down during the warranty period, we will first try to repair it or supply a missing part within a reasonable time. What counts as reasonable depends on your issue and the type of product. A repair or part delivery during the warranty period is free of charge.
Replacement product
If repair is not possible within a reasonable time, we will offer you a new, equivalent product. We also replace the product if this is cheaper than repair or part delivery. Replacements during the warranty period are free of charge. The price of the replacement product may differ from the original, but the difference will not be charged to you or refunded.
Full refund of the purchase amount
If we cannot repair or replace the defective product within a reasonable time, you will receive the full purchase amount back.
Options after the warranty period
Is your product out of warranty, but its economic lifespan has not yet expired? If the product broke without any fault on your part within its expected lifespan, we will repair or replace it. If the repair or replacement extends the product’s lifespan, you will be charged part of the repair cost. The more the lifespan is extended, the higher your contribution to the repair costs, since you’ll be able to use the product longer than the original one, and because the economic lifespan restarts with a replacement.
