• Combat - The strategic turn-based combat system of the original has been further enhanced to a timeline system. Enjoy all the classic SaGame mechanics, such as "Glimmers," which allow you to learn new skills in the heat of battle, and "Formations," which offer unique advantages to your retinue depending on its composition. In addition, the remake introduces the new 'United Attack' feature to perform combination attacks with your retinue to turn the tide!

• Graphics - The original 2D pixel sprites of it are now modeled in full 3D while maintaining their charming, familiar look based on Tomomi Kobayashi's beautiful concept illustrations. All cities and dungeons are also now fully rendered with revamped terrains and layouts.

• Three difficulty levels - Casual offers a story-oriented experience with less emphasis on combat. Normal is recommended for experienced RPG players looking for a balanced game. Hard (Classic) is perfect for players looking for the brutal but satisfying challenge of the original 1993 version.

• Music and voices - Kenji Ito returns with a beautiful soundtrack featuring new arrangements! The music can be switched from the new to the original version in the Options screen. All scenes now feature full Japanese and English voiceovers.
