The Nintendo Switch Lite is a new addition to the Nintendo Switch family and is a compact and lightweight system, making it easy to take it anywhere.
With the Nintendo Switch Lite, the controls are fully integrated into the device. It is also more compact than the flagship model. Moreover, the Nintendo Switch Lite has no stand and because the device was specifically designed as a handheld system, you cannot connect it to a television. Therefore, the system comes without a cradle or HDMI cable.
On the new device, you can play all Nintendo Switch games that support handheld style*, although some games will have some limitations. Refer to the back of a game's packaging and the product information on the official Nintendo website to find out more about which features are included and which play styles are supported in specific games.
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite owners can play with each other via Nintendo Switch Online*** or local wireless multiplayer**** in compatible multiplayer games, such as Super Mario Maker 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
