Material
The Ross garden chair is made of maintenance-free e-coated steel. This is a sturdy coating applied via electronically charged paint particles. Around this sturdy frame is 5 mm thick high-quality rope. This rope has a black colour and can be compared to rope used in shipping. The rope has a rubber core inside containing several polyester threads for strength. Surrounding the rubber core is solution dyed polyester rope. This means the rope is coloured through and through and discolours much less quickly.

Maintenance
Steel can become dirty from splashing rainwater or spilt drinks, for example. This is easy to clean with soapy water and a soft cloth. The solution-dyed polyester rope is easy to clean with a soft brush and the cleaner for rope from Garden Impressions. Once the rope has been thoroughly cleaned with the cleaner, rinse with plenty of water. When the rope is dry again, it should be treated with a protector. The protector will make your rope water-repellent. It is recommended to do this at least twice a season and especially the tangible parts.

Cushions
The supplied cushion is made of polyester. The cushion is fitted with a zip, making it easy to wash the cover. The cushion is not water-resistant and can be stored in a shed or cushion box after use. The cushion does have a water-repellent coating. This is very practical if, for example, drinks are spilt on the cushion. It is easy to wipe off the moisture. Set of 2 pieces.
