This smart sensor detects whether your door or window is opened or closed and sends this information to your Nedis SmartLife application. A Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx) is required for this. This allows you to automatically do many different things, such as a notification when someone is home or a reminder when a door or window has been left open. By combining this sensor with other products in the Nedis SmartLife application, you can activate any additional Nedis SmartLife product when a door is opened (e.g., light, smart plug or alarm) or switch off the heating or air conditioning when a door is open. Thanks to its compact size and the included battery with a lifespan of up to one year (with six activations per day), you can place this sensor wherever you want (within a range of approximately 30 meters from the Zigbee gateway).
