Eccentric Polisher PM510DC: cordless detailing with a glossy finish

The PM510DC is a great all-round polisher, suitable for both beginners and experienced users. Thanks to the eccentric Dual Action movement and a generous stroke of 15 mm, heat is evenly distributed and you work in a controlled manner, with little risk of burning or hologram formation. This makes this polishing machine ideal for removing scratches, polishing paint and applying wax or sealant. The backing plate has a diameter of Ø125 mm and is therefore suitable for both smaller details and larger surfaces. Compact enough for precision work, powerful enough for the larger work. The PM510DC Polisher is part of VONROC PRO – our top line of tools, made from high-quality components. For example, the machine is equipped with an advanced 20V brushless motor. This type of motor is more durable, requires less maintenance and is quieter than traditional motors, and guarantees long-term use without loss of quality. The housing is robustly constructed with metal screw connections, impact-resistant plastic and is equipped with active cooling ports – ready for intensive use. Thanks to the soft start electronics, the machine starts up in a controlled manner, which significantly reduces the chance of polishing agent splashing. The constant speed electronics keeps the speed stable, which contributes to an even, professional finish. With the 7-step variable speed control (2000–5000 /min) with clear click positions, you always have full control over the polishing process, whether you are doing rough work or just working on the finishing touch. The Ø125 mm backing plate with soft EVA layer and Velcro is compatible with the most common polishing discs – and of course also with our own VONROC polishing discs .

The PM510DC polisher has been developed with an eye for comfort, ease of use and safety. The vibration-damping and balanced design, in combination with the ergonomic Softgrip with high-quality rubber finish, ensures that the machine is firm and comfortable in the hand. With the lock-on function you can lock the switch, so you don't have to press it continuously and you can fully focus on maneuvering the machine. Thanks to the integrated safety switch with lock, you prevent unwanted switching on, which significantly reduces the risk of (paint) damage. In short: countless features that ensure that you can work safely and for a long time without getting tired – ideal for larger polishing jobs.

What can you use a polisher for? More than you think!

A polisher is a versatile tool that you can use on many more surfaces than you might think. Of course, it is often used for detailing cars, but you can just as easily refresh dull caravan windows, wooden furniture or cast epoxy with it. With the right disc and the appropriate polishing agent, you can make many surfaces shine and shine again. A selection of the applications:

• Paint correction, gloss restoration and scratch and oxidation removal of vehicles
• Applying wax or sealant for durable protection
• Polishing boats and surfaces with gelcoat or plastic
• Restoration of plexiglass, polycarbonate and caravan windows
• Giving shine to wooden furniture and high-gloss panels
• Refining cast epoxy, resin or resin surfaces to a crystal-clear result

General advice: A different type of polishing disc is required for each application, and a different polishing agent for each surface. The end result therefore depends strongly on the combination you use. A product that is suitable for car paint, for example, may be unsuitable for a wooden piece of furniture or an epoxy table. Therefore, study the type of treatment and the properties of the surface carefully, and adjust your choice of materials accordingly.

Before you get started, we recommend that you always test on a test spot first. Every surface reacts differently, so try it out first on a (preferably less visible) part of the surface that you want to treat. Satisfied with the result? Then you can treat the entire surface without any worries.

Do not use too much polishing agent: a saturated polishing disc works less effectively, dissipates heat less well, and can lead to the Velcro coming loose. Is your disc too saturated? No worries! After use, the discs are easy to clean with lukewarm water and a mild soapy solution. Let them dry well and you can simply reuse them afterwards.
