VIOFO Viofo A329 2CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam Dashcam

The Viofo A329 is Viofo's new flagship model. This dashcam is one of the first to film at 4K 60fps, ensuring very clear and smooth videos. Another first is the ability to expand the memory with external SSD storage (not included). In addition to these new features, the Viofo A329 is equipped with very fast Wifi and GPS for the best connection.

4K 60fps + 2K

The Viofo A329 2CH is equipped with two cameras, allowing recording both in front of and behind the car. The 4K 60fps resolution at the front guarantees the sharpest and smoothest footage. Thanks to the Sony Starvis 2 sensor, the quality is also excellent in the dark. The rear camera films at 2K resolution.

The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long, included 6-meter cable. The footage from the rear camera is stored separately on the SD card. On the 2.4-inch HD LCD screen, the rear camera is displayed via PiP (Picture in Picture) on one-quarter of the screen.

Expandable SSD storage

The Viofo A329 2CH supports Micro SD cards up to 512GB but can be expanded with external SSD storage up to 4TB. A 512GB SD card can store approximately 18 hours of 4K + 2K videos. With 4TB of storage, it's about 138 hours. Some tested SSD drives include those from Samsung, Sandisk, and Western Digital. In addition to an SSD drive, a USB flash drive can also be connected to the dashcam for extra storage.

Wifi 6

The Viofo A329 2CH is equipped with new super-fast Wifi6 (5GHz) technology, ensuring very fast and reliable file transfer. With Wifi 6, data transfer speeds of up to 30MB/s are possible. The Viofo App is available for iOS and Android.

Including CPL filter

The included CPL filter for the front camera guarantees optimal protection and image quality in sunny conditions. The CPL filter acts like polarized sunglasses for the dashcam's lens. It filters out harmful UV radiation and eliminates distracting reflections. For the rear camera, the CPL-500 filter is optionally available (see accessories).

Automatic parking mode

The Viofo A329 is equipped with an automatic parking mode with motion detection or Time Lapse. With motion detection, the camera stays in standby and starts a 30-second recording when motion is detected. With Time Lapse, the camera continuously records a 1fps video that can later be played back as a 30fps video (time-lapsed). This ensures evidence is always available if the car is damaged while parked.

Please note: The automatic parking mode only works when the dashcam is used with the Viofo HK4 permanent power supply (see accessories). When connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and return to normal recording when the car is started.

Bluetooth SOS button (optional)

With the convenient optional Viofo A329 Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A329 2CH with a single press. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A329 2CH by turning on the dashcam and holding the button for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will light up blue if the connection is successfully established. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere inside the vehicle using the included adhesive.

GPS module

The Viofo A329 2CH comes standard with a GPS module. The GPS allows the current speed to be displayed on the screen. This can be crucial evidence in the event of an incident. Furthermore, the GPS records the location where the dashcam footage was captured. The software on the PC can then be used to view the route taken.

2.4 inch LCD screen

This Viofo A329 2CH dashcam features a 2.4-inch HD LCD screen. The screen displays live footage and allows for easy menu navigation. The built-in screensaver automatically turns off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes, if desired, to avoid distracting the driver.

140˚ + 160˚ wideview lens

With its 140˚ + 160˚ wideview 'fish eye' lens, the Viofo A329 2CH has a large field of view, capturing almost everything in its surroundings.

HDR

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is capable of generating sharp images in both very high and very low light intensities. This allows the camera to record razor-sharp images both during the day with bright light and at night with low light.

WDR

The Viofo A329 2CH is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity based on the environment. The WDR thus guarantees the best image quality under varying conditions.

Auto start

The Viofo A329 2CH dashcam automatically starts recording when the car is started. You don't have to worry about it once it's installed in the car. This requires it to be connected to the car's power supply.

G-sensor

With the built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A329 2CH dashcam detects when you've been in an accident. In case of an impact, footage is automatically secured and saved so it won't be lost. It cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.

Super capacitor battery

The Viofo A329 2CH is equipped with a super capacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can shut down properly after the power is lost. Super capacitor batteries are specifically developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than regular Polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.

Built-in microphone

Thanks to the built-in microphone in this dashcam, the sound inside and around the car is also recorded. The microphone can be turned off if desired
