VIOFO A129 Plus 2CH Duo 2K Wifi GPS Dashcam

This Viofo A129 Plus 2CH is the 2-channel 2K Quad HD variant of the popular Viofo A129 series. The 2K resolution at the front and Full HD at the rear ensure that everything in front of the car is recorded in good quality. In addition to image quality, this Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K GPS is equipped with super-fast and stable Dual-Band Wifi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), it comes standard with a GPS mount, and there is the option to control it with a Bluetooth SOS button.

Dual 2K + Full HD Recordings

Because the Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K GPS is equipped with two cameras, this dashcam can record both in front of and behind the car. The front dashcam records at 2K resolution in 1440p at 30fps and the rear at 1080p Full HD 30fps.

The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long supplied cable of 6 meters. The images from the rear camera are stored separately on the SD card. On the 2.0-inch LCD screen, the rear camera is displayed in Picture in Picture (PiP) mode, occupying one-quarter of the screen.

Dual-Band Wifi

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K GPS is equipped with dual-band Wifi, making file transfer very fast and the network very reliable. Via the Viofo App, images can be viewed and downloaded directly on any iOS and Android phone and tablet via the wifi.

2x SONY Starvis sensor

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K films with excellent image quality. Thanks to the super-fast Novatek 96663 chip in combination with the two SONY sensors, all details are clearly visible, even in the dark. When the rear camera is not connected, the A129 Plus Duo 2K films at 1080p 60fps.

Automatic Parking Mode

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K is equipped with an automatic parking mode with motion detection or Time Lapse. With motion detection, the camera is on standby and starts a 30-second recording when motion is detected. With Time Lapse, the camera continuously records a 1fps video that can later be played back (sped up) as a 30fps video. This way, evidence is always available when the car is damaged while parked.

Please note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Continuous power supply for the Viofo A129 (optional accessory). If connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and return to normal recording when the car is started.

Bluetooth SOS Button (Optional)

With the convenient optional Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K with one press of the button. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K by turning on the dashcam and holding the button down for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will light up blue if the connection is established successfully. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere in the vehicle using the included adhesive.

GPS Module

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K comes standard with a GPS module. The GPS allows the current speed to be displayed on the screen. This can be crucial evidence in the event of an incident. Furthermore, the GPS records the location where the dashcam footage was recorded. Via the software on the PC, the route taken can then be viewed.

The GPS is integrated into the mount that attaches to the windshield. Optionally, an extra GPS mount can be ordered if the dashcam is used in multiple vehicles. The GPS mounts remain attached to the windshield, allowing the camera to be easily swapped between vehicles.

2.0 inch LCD Screen

This Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K dashcam has a 2.0-inch LCD screen. The live images are displayed on the screen, and the menu can be easily operated. The built-in screensaver automatically turns off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes if desired, so it does not distract the driver.

130˚ + 140˚ Wideview Lens

With the 130˚ + 140˚ wideview 'fish eye' lens, the Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K has a wide field of view and records almost everything in the surroundings.

1.6 aperture 7G lens

The 1.6 aperture and 7G lens capture a lot of light, ensuring excellent image quality both day and night.

HDR

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is capable of generating sharp images in both very high and very low light intensities. This allows the camera to record razor-sharp images during the day with abundant light and at night with low light.

WDR

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the environment. WDR thus guarantees the best image quality under varying conditions.

Auto Start

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K dashcam automatically starts recording when the car is started. You don't have to worry about it once it's installed in the car. However, it must be connected to the car's power supply.

G-sensor

Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K dashcam detects when you have been in an accident. In the event of an impact, footage is automatically saved securely so it is not lost. It cannot be overwritten and cannot be deleted via the dashcam.

AV Output

Via the AV output, the dashcam's image can be displayed on an external monitor, such as the car's built-in navigation system. An AV cable is required to transmit the images.

Optional CPL Filter

With the optional CPL filter, optimal protection and image quality are guaranteed under sunny conditions. The CPL filter acts like a polarizing sunglasses for the dashcam's lens. Harmful UV radiation is filtered out, and distracting reflections are eliminated. This improves the image quality and durability of the camera.

Super Capacitor Battery

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K is equipped with a super capacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can shut down properly after the power supply is lost. Super capacitor batteries are specifically developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than regular Polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.

Built-in Microphone

Thanks to the built-in microphone in this dashcam, sound inside and around the car is also recorded. The microphone can be turned off if desired.

256GB Support

The Viofo A129 Plus Duo 2K supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB. This is enough for approximately 48 hours of FullHD video (24 hours in 2CH).
