The Villette le Petit Bonheur is an electric ladies' bike with a low step-through and 26-inch wheels and a somewhat smaller frame, making this bike ideal for shorter people or cyclists who are a bit less confident and like to have both feet on the ground quickly.
This complete and pleasant-to-ride e-bike makes that easy. The rear wheel motor provides natural support, precisely where the chain drives the wheel. You can choose from 6 gears thanks to the Shimano derailleur and 3 support levels. You can easily select these using the LED display on the handlebars. The bike is suitable for people from 150 to 175 cm tall, thanks to the long seat post and adjustable handlebars.

Villette bikes: ride without worries.
Your Villette e-bike has been assembled with great care by skilled professionals. The components used are of impeccable quality to guarantee long and carefree use. You can rely on your Villette bike. Of course, you should have the bike checked occasionally for wear and tear on consumable parts such as tires, brake pads, sprockets, and chain. Regular cleaning (but not with a high-pressure washer!) will extend its lifespan, as will lubricating the moving parts every two or three months. You can do this yourself or have it done by a bicycle mechanic.
A pleasant bike ride.
Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged for the trip you have in mind. Are the tires properly inflated? Keep in mind that the range specified by the manufacturer is calculated under the most favorable conditions: low rider weight, excellent weather, lightest support mode, and active pedaling by the rider. In practice, the stated range will almost never be achieved. Poor road surfaces, low tire pressure, headwinds, and selecting a higher support level are all factors that reduce the range. If the battery runs out before you reach your destination, remember that the bike rides perfectly well without assistance, and the motor's resistance is negligible when it is switched off.
Ready to go? Nothing stands in the way of a beautiful journey. If you want to stop for a visit to a shop or cafe along the way, no problem! Extend the kickstand and lock the bike (the bike is supplied without a lock; we recommend purchasing an ART-approved lock), remove the battery if you feel more secure, and take a break. You can often recharge the battery at cafes. So, for longer rides, take the charger with you just in case.
The battery, maintenance, and storage.
The battery of your Villette e-bike is an important part of the electrical system. When purchased, the battery will usually be half full. You must fully charge the battery before the first use. Ride the battery (in one or more trips, it doesn't matter) until the battery indicator on the display starts flashing. Then, fully charge the battery again. Repeat this cycle at least 4 times. This way, the battery will be optimally activated and its full capacity can be utilized. After these 4 cycles of fully charging and riding almost completely empty, you can also start charging the battery in between, when necessary. This will no longer affect its lifespan.
You can charge the battery on or off the bike. Charging at room temperature in a dry environment is preferred. At low and high temperatures, simply less power can be absorbed into the cells, which reduces the range.
If you do not use the battery for several weeks? Remove it from the bike and store the battery at room temperature. Ensure the battery is fully charged when stored. If you do not use the battery for several months, place the battery on the charger every 2 months. This prevents deep discharge, which could render the battery unusable.
The battery has a splash-proof housing full of electrical cells. Never immerse the battery in water, and never use a high-pressure washer to clean it! If you transport the e-bike on a bike rack on your car, remove the battery from the bike and place it inside the car. This not only reduces the weight on the rack but also prevents damage to the battery in case of rain. At 100 km/h, a mild rain shower acts like a high-pressure washer.
