VANTRUE N5S Cloud 2K 4CH Wifi GPS 360 degrees Dashcam

This Vantrue N5S is the Cloud version of the popular Vantrue N5. This is Vantrue's absolute flagship model. This dashcam is equipped with 4 cameras and therefore records everything in and around the car. Two cameras are integrated into the front dashcam and two are integrated into the rear camera. The front and rear cameras also record the interior and a part of the outside of the car from both sides. The Vantrue N5S Cloud is therefore perfect for use as 360˚ security when parking.

Vantrue Cloud

Perhaps the best feature of this Vantrue N5S Cloud is the ability to connect to the dashcam from anywhere in the world. The Vantrue LTE module (see accessories) supports SIM cards with an active internet connection. Then connect the Vantrue LTE module to the dashcam and you have full Cloud connectivity anywhere in the world.

Vantrue Cloud offers you 2GB of free Cloud storage for all parking mode videos. When the Cloud storage is full, the oldest footage will automatically be overwritten by new footage. In case of special events (severe vibrations), a notification will also be sent to your phone, and the video will be securely stored in the Cloud so it cannot be automatically deleted.

2K (QuadHD) + 3x FullHD with WDR

This Vantrue N5S Cloud records in sharp 2K (1944p) at 25fps at the front. Thanks to WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), the contrast of the recordings is very good, and the surroundings are recognizable even in the dark.

The interior cameras in the front and rear cameras, and the rear-facing camera, all record in FullHD 1080p. The interior cameras are integrated into the front and rear dashcams, so no extra connection is needed. The interior cameras also have infrared LEDs, ensuring excellent visibility in the dark.

The rear camera is connected to the front dashcam with a long 6-meter cable. The videos from both cameras are stored separately on the SD card. The LCD screen allows you to switch between the front and rear camera views, or display both simultaneously.

3.19 inch LCD screen

The Vantrue N5S Cloud is equipped with a large and clear 3.19-inch widescreen LCD display where recordings can be viewed and the menu can be easily operated. The screen has a screensaver that activates after 1 minute so it doesn't bother you while driving. You can also turn the screen on and off with the voice commands 'Turn on screen' and 'Turn off screen'.

Wireless 5.0GHz Wifi

View recorded videos on your smartphone within range of the dashcam (+/- 5 meters) via the Vantrue App for iOS or Android. Videos can be viewed live, and you can download stored videos to your phone for immediate sharing. The 5.0GHz Wifi ensures faster file transfer than many other dashcams. The menu is also easily operated via the App to quickly change settings.

GPS

The Vantrue N5S Cloud is equipped with GPS to track the current speed and coordinates. The speed can optionally be displayed at the bottom of each video, and the recording location and route can be viewed later via the App.

Voice control

The Vantrue N5S Cloud allows you to control the dashcam using (English) voice commands. With commands like 'Make picture', 'Turn off screen', 'Turn on audio', and 'Lock the video', you can safely use the dashcam while driving and not miss any incidents.

Automatic buffered parking mode

Vantrue offers the option to secure your car while parked. Connect your Vantrue dashcam with the OBD or 3-wire hardwire kit to power the dashcam even when the car is turned off. The power supply signals the dashcam as soon as you turn off the car, automatically activating parking mode.

Parking mode only works in combination with the OBD or 3-wire hardwire kit. This power supply includes a protection that interrupts power at a certain voltage to prevent your battery from draining.

Vantrue offers four recording modes during parking:

Motion detection : Standby until visual motion is detected. Records 5 seconds before and 30 seconds after the incident.

Collision detection : Vibration detection (with adjustable sensitivity) where the dashcam turns off until a vibration is detected. Then it turns on, records for 1 minute, and turns off again.

Low bitrate recording : Continuous recording at lower quality (720p or 1080p at 15fps) to save SD card space. As soon as a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording starts.

Time lapse recording : Continuous recording at 1fps, 5fps, 10fps, or 15fps to save SD card space. At 1fps, a 30-minute period is played back in 1 minute. As soon as a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording starts.

360 degree view

Because the Vantrue N5S Cloud is equipped with 4 cameras, everything in and around the car is recorded. The front camera (158˚), two interior cameras (160˚), and the rear camera (165˚) together ensure that you don't miss anything.

Optional CPL filter

Attach the optional CPL (Polaroid) filter to your Vantrue dashcam to prevent annoying reflections from the dashboard or interior. The filter attaches to the dashcam in seconds and can be easily adjusted by rotating it.

Optional Bluetooth SOS button

The Vantrue N5S Cloud can be expanded with a convenient Bluetooth SOS button. This button can be placed anywhere in the car, and with a single press, you can take a picture, record a secure video, or turn the dashcam's microphone on and off.

G-sensor

The Vantrue N5S Cloud has a built-in G-sensor. This sensor detects vibrations in case of a collision. The current video is then securely saved.

Loop recording

The Vantrue N5S Cloud is equipped with loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new footage. Videos are saved in shorter segments of 5 minutes, and once the SD card is full, the oldest segment is deleted.

Secure recordings (manually selected or detected by the G-sensor) are saved in a separate folder and are not deleted by loop recording. This way, you always have access to the latest and most important videos.

1TB memory support

The Vantrue N5S Cloud supports Micro SD cards up to 1TB (1024GB). With 1TB, you can store up to 200 hours (over 8 days) of FullHD video. At higher resolutions, the total recording time will be shorter.
