VANTRUE N2X Cloud 2K Wifi GPS Dashcam

The Vantrue N2X is a high-quality 2K dashcam with an interior camera, specially developed for taxi drivers. The 2K camera at the front films the road, and the FullHD interior camera keeps an eye on the occupants. The Vantrue N2X is equipped with fast 5GHz and GPS, and you can expand it with a handy Bluetooth S.O.S. button to easily make emergency recordings.

Vantrue Cloud

Perhaps the best feature of this Vantrue N2X Cloud is the ability to connect to the dashcam from anywhere in the world. The Vantrue LTE module (see accessories) supports SIM cards with an active internet connection. Then connect the Vantrue LTE module to the dashcam, and you'll have full cloud connectivity anywhere in the world.

Vantrue Cloud offers you 2GB of free cloud storage for all parking mode videos. When the cloud storage is full, the oldest footage will automatically be overwritten by new footage. In case of special events (heavy vibrations), a notification will also be sent to your phone, and the video will be securely stored in the cloud so it cannot be automatically deleted.

QuadHD + FullHD

This Vantrue N2X records in sharp 2K QuadHD 2592*1944p at 30fps at the front. Thanks to WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), the contrast of the recordings is very good, and the surroundings are recognizable even in the dark. The resolution can also be set to 1440p at 60fps for even smoother videos.

The interior camera records in FullHD 1080p resolution. The interior camera is integrated into the front dashcam, so no extra connection is needed. It can be rotated vertically to position it correctly.

Bluetooth SOS button

The Vantrue N2X comes standard with a handy Bluetooth SOS button. You can place this button anywhere in the car, and with one press, you can take a photo and a secure video, or turn the dashcam's microphone on and off.

2.0 inch LCD screen

The Vantrue N2X is equipped with a clear 2.0-inch LCD screen where you can view recordings and easily operate the menu. The screen has a screensaver that activates after 1 minute so it doesn't bother you while driving. You can also turn the screen on and off with the voice commands 'Turn on screen' and 'Turn off screen'.

Wireless 5.0GHz Wifi

You can easily view the recorded videos on your smartphone via the Vantrue App for iOS or Android within range of the dashcam (+/- 5 meters). The videos can be viewed live, and you can download saved videos to your phone so you can share them immediately. The 5.0GHz Wi-Fi ensures faster file transfer than many other dashcams. The menu is also easy to operate via the App to quickly change settings.

GPS

The Vantrue N2X is equipped with GPS to track the current speed and coordinates. The speed can optionally be displayed at the bottom of each video, and the filming location and route can be viewed later via the App.

Voice control

The Vantrue N2X allows you to control the dashcam using (English) voice commands. By using commands such as 'Make picture', 'Turn off screen', 'Turn on audio', and 'Lock the video', you can safely use the dashcam while driving and won't miss any incidents.

Automatic buffered parking mode

Vantrue offers the option to secure your car while parked. Connect your Vantrue dashcam with the OBD or 3-wire permanent power supply to provide power to the dashcam even when the car is turned off. The power supply signals the dashcam as soon as you turn off the car, so parking mode is automatically activated.

Parking mode only works in combination with the OBD or 3-wire permanent power supply. This power supply has a safety feature that interrupts power at a certain voltage to prevent you from ending up with a dead battery.

Vantrue has four recording modes during parking:

Motion detection : The dashcam remains in standby until visual motion is detected. It then saves 5 seconds before and 30 seconds after the incident.

Collision detection : Vibration detection (with adjustable sensitivity) where the dashcam turns off until a vibration is detected. It then turns on, records for 1 minute, and then turns off again.

Low bitrate recording : Continuous recording at a lower quality (720p or 1080p at 15fps) to save space on the SD card. As soon as a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started.

Time lapse recording : Continuous recording at 1fps, 5fps, 10fps, or 15fps to save space on the SD card. At 1fps, a 30-minute period is played back in 1 minute. As soon as a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started.

158˚ + 160˚ viewing angle

The Vantrue N2X has a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees on all cameras, capturing a very large area in and around the car.

Magnetic GPS mount

The Vantrue N2X is attached to the windshield with a handy self-adhesive GPS mount with a magnetic connection. The dashcam can be clicked in and out of this mount in one motion. An additional GPS mount is available (see accessories) to use your Vantrue N2X in multiple cars.

Optional CPL filter

Attach the optional CPL (Polaroid) filter to your Vantrue dashcam to prevent annoying reflections from the dashboard or interior. The filter can be attached to the dashcam in an instant and is easily adjustable by rotating it.

G-sensor

The Vantrue N2X has a built-in G-sensor. This sensor detects vibrations in case of a collision. The current video is then securely saved.

Loop recording

The Vantrue N2X is equipped with loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new footage. The videos are saved in shorter segments of 5 minutes, and as soon as the SD card is full, the oldest segment is deleted.

Secure recordings (manually selected or detected by the G-sensor) are saved in a separate folder and are not deleted by loop recording. This way, you always have access to the latest and most important videos.

512gb support

Vantrue is one of the few dashcam brands with support for SD cards up to 512GB. With 512GB, you can store up to 108 hours (over 4 days) of FullHD videos. At a higher resolution, the total recording time will be slightly shorter.
