VANTRUE E2 Dual 2K QuadHD Wifi GPS Dashcam

This Vantrue Element 2 (E2) Dual is the perfect dashcam if you don't want to miss anything happening around your car. It films in 2K (QuadHD) at the front and rear, and with its extensive parking mode, this Vantrue E2 is the ideal security during parking. Additionally, the Vantrue E2 has onboard Wifi and GPS, and it comes with a convenient Bluetooth SOS button.

Dual 2K (QuadHD) with WDR

This Vantrue E2 records in very sharp 2K QuadHD 2592*1944p at 25fps at the front and rear. You can also set the resolution lower to 2560*1440p. Thanks to WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), the contrast of the recordings is very good, and the surroundings are recognizable even in the dark.

The rear camera is connected to the front dashcam with a long 6-meter cable. The videos from both cameras are stored separately on the SD card. The LCD screen allows you to switch between the front and rear camera views, or display both simultaneously.

Bluetooth SOS button

The Vantrue E2 comes standard with a convenient Bluetooth SOS button. You can place this button anywhere in the car, and with a single press, you can take photos and secure videos, or turn the dashcam's microphone on and off.

2.45 inch LCD screen

The Vantrue E2 is equipped with a large and clear 2.45-inch LCD screen where recordings are visible and the menu is easy to operate. The screen has a screensaver that activates after 1 minute so it doesn't distract you while driving. You can also turn the screen on and off with the voice commands 'Turn on screen' and 'Turn off screen'.

Wireless 5.0gHz Wifi

Within the dashcam's range (+/- 5 meters), you can easily view recorded videos on your smartphone via the Vantrue App for iOS or Android. Videos can be viewed live, and you can download saved videos to your phone to share them immediately. The 5.0gHz Wifi ensures faster file transfer than many other dashcams. The menu is also easy to operate via the App to quickly change settings.

GPS

The Vantrue E2 is equipped with GPS to track current speed and coordinates. The speed can optionally be displayed at the bottom of each video, and the recording location and route can be viewed later via the App.

Voice control

The Vantrue E2 offers the ability to control the dashcam using (English) voice commands. With commands like 'Make picture', 'Turn off screen', 'Turn on audio', and 'Lock the video', you can safely use the dashcam while driving and not miss any incidents.

Automatic buffered parking mode

Vantrue offers the option to secure your car while parked. Connect your Vantrue dashcam with the OBD or 3-wire hardwire kit to power the dashcam even when the car is off. The power supply signals the dashcam as soon as you turn off the car, automatically activating parking mode.

Parking mode only works in combination with the OBD or 3-wire hardwire kit. This power supply includes a protection that cuts off power at a certain voltage to prevent draining your car battery.

Vantrue offers four recording modes during parking:

Motion detection : Standby mode where the dashcam activates when visual motion is detected. It then saves 5 seconds before and 30 seconds after the incident.

Collision detection : Vibration detection (with adjustable sensitivity) where the dashcam deactivates until a vibration is detected. It then turns on, records for 1 minute, and turns off again.

Low bitrate recording : Continuous recording at a lower quality (720p or 1080p at 15fps) to save SD card space. When a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is initiated.

Time lapse recording : Continuous recording at 1fps, 5fps, 10fps, or 15fps to save SD card space. At 1fps, a 30-minute period is played back in 1 minute. When a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started.

160˚ + 160˚ viewing angle

The Vantrue E2 has a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees at the front and rear, capturing a very large area around the car.

Magnetic GPS mount

The Vantrue E2 is attached to the windshield with a convenient self-adhesive GPS mount with a magnetic connection. The dashcam can be clicked in and out of this mount in one motion. An additional GPS mount is available (see accessories) if you wish to use your Vantrue E2 in multiple cars.

Optional CPL filter

Attach the optional CPL (Polaroid) filter to your Vantrue dashcam to prevent annoying reflections from the dashboard or interior. The filter can be attached to the dashcam in an instant and is easily adjustable by rotating it.

G-sensor

The Vantrue E2 has a built-in G-sensor. This sensor detects vibrations in case of a collision. The current video is then saved securely.

Loop recording

The Vantrue E2 is equipped with loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new recordings. Videos are saved in shorter segments of 5 minutes, and once the SD card is full, the oldest segment is deleted.

Secure recordings (manually selected or detected by the G-sensor) are saved in a separate folder and are not deleted by the loop recording. This ensures you always have access to the latest and most important videos.

512gb support

Vantrue is one of the few dashcam brands supporting SD cards up to 512GB. With 512GB, you can store up to 108 hours (over 4 days) of FullHD video. At higher resolutions, the total recording time will be shorter.
