VANTRUE E1 Lite Full HD Wifi GPS Dashcam

This Vantrue Element 1 Lite (E1 Lite) is Vantrue's entry-level dashcam. This super small dashcam fits in any car and is hardly noticeable due to its design. It records in FullHD videos and is equipped with Wifi, GPS, and an extensive parking mode (if connected with the optional permanent power supply).

FullHD video with HDR

This Vantrue E1 Lite records in quite sharp FullHD 1920*1080p at 30fps. Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range), the contrast of the recordings is very good, and the surroundings are recognizable even in the dark.

1.5 inch LCD screen

The Vantrue E1 Lite is equipped with a small 1.5-inch LCD screen where recordings can be viewed and the menu can be easily operated. The screen has a screensaver that activates after 1 minute so it doesn't bother you while driving. You can also turn the screen on and off with the voice commands 'Turn on screen' and 'Turn off screen'.

Wireless 2.4gHz Wifi

Within range of the dashcam (+/- 5 meters), you can easily view the recorded videos on your smartphone via the Vantrue App for iOS or Android. The videos can be viewed live, and you can download saved videos to your phone to share them immediately. The menu is also easy to operate via the App to quickly change settings.

GPS

The Vantrue E1 Lite is equipped with GPS to track the current speed and coordinates. The speed can optionally be displayed at the bottom of each video, and the recording location and route can be viewed later via the App.

Voice control

The Vantrue E1 Lite offers the ability to control the dashcam via (English) voice commands. By using commands such as 'Make picture', 'Turn off screen', 'Turn on audio', and 'Lock the video', you can safely use the dashcam while driving and not miss any incidents.

Automatic buffered parking mode

Vantrue offers the option to secure your car while parking. Connect your Vantrue dashcam with the OBD or 3-wire permanent power supply to provide power to the dashcam even when the car is turned off. The power supply signals the dashcam as soon as you turn off the car, so the parking mode is automatically activated.

The parking mode only works in combination with the OBD or 3-wire permanent power supply. This power supply includes a protection that interrupts power at a certain voltage to prevent you from ending up with a dead battery.

Vantrue has four recording modes during parking:

Motion detection : Motion detection (with adjustable sensitivity) where the dashcam remains in standby until visual motion is detected in the frame. Then, 5 seconds before and 30 seconds after the incident are recorded.

Collision detection : Vibration detection (with adjustable sensitivity) where the dashcam turns off until a vibration is detected. Then, the dashcam turns on, records for 1 minute, and then turns off again.

Low bitrate recording : Continuous recording in lower quality (720p or 1080p at 15fps) to save space on the SD card. As soon as a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started.

Time lapse recording : Continuous recording at 1fps, 5fps, 10fps, or 15fps to save space on the SD card. At 1fps, a period of 30 minutes is played back in 1 minute. As soon as a vibration is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started.

160˚ viewing angle

The Vantrue E1 Lite has a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees, capturing a very large area around the car.

Magnetic GPS mount

The Vantrue E1 Lite is attached to the windshield with a convenient self-adhesive GPS mount with a magnetic connection. The dashcam can be clicked in and out of this mount in one motion. To use your Vantrue E1 Lite in multiple cars, an extra GPS mount is available (see accessories).

Optional CPL filter

Attach the optional CPL (Polaroid) filter to your Vantrue dashcam to prevent annoying reflections from the dashboard or interior. The filter can be attached to the dashcam in an instant and is easily adjustable by rotating it.

G-sensor

The Vantrue E1 Lite has a built-in G-sensor. This sensor detects vibrations in case of a collision. The current video is then securely saved.

Loop recording

The Vantrue E1 Lite is equipped with loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage with new footage. The videos are saved in shorter segments of 5 minutes, and once the SD card is full, the oldest segment is deleted.

Secure recordings (manually selected or detected by the G-sensor) are saved in a separate folder and are not deleted by loop recording. This way, you always have access to the latest and most important videos.

512gb support

Vantrue is one of the few dashcam brands with support for SD cards up to 512gb. With 512gb, you can store up to 108 hours (over 4 days) of FullHD videos.
