The R90W is designed by Fluid. Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels, and looks like you are on the water thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin Tank technology. With this unique system, you can easily adjust the water resistance at any time with the rotary knob.

Adjustable Fluid Resistance
The water tank of the Fluid Rower consists of two separate tanks: an inner and an outer tank. The inner tank is the ‘passive tank’ or storage tank, the outer tank is the ‘active tank’ or resistance tank. If you choose a higher resistance with the rotary knob while rowing, the water from the passive tank is moved to the active tank. This means you experience more resistance after a few strokes. If you choose a lower resistance, the water is siphoned back from the active tank to the passive tank, so you experience less resistance after a few strokes.

You experience a fast and smooth resistance adjustment while training, and never have to determine the water level in the tank beforehand. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected and finished down to the smallest detail: as long as the water limit is not exceeded, the tank will never leak. Bluetooth Monitor: real-time insight into your stroke

The seat of the R90W guarantees the most comfortable rowing training, with the perfect balance between hard and soft. Thanks to the well-thought-out, ergonomic shape and anti-slip texture, you sit firmly and comfortably in the saddle. The seat is raised for a comfortable entry, and the comfort can be further extended with a Fluid backrest kit and riser kit.

For extra stability, the seat runs on a double rail. The double-bearing wheels under the seat run smoothly over two plastic strips attached to both rails. This prevents wear and tear, ensuring a quiet rowing experience: you hear no sound other than the 'woosh' of the moving water.

Every foot firmly in place
The footrests are adjustable in height and equipped with two sturdy, separate foot straps that secure each foot individually. Your feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both footrests are also equipped with a specially designed ‘cup’ at the bottom. Thanks to its design, this heel support fits perfectly around the heel of your shoe and moves with every rowing motion. This ensures your foot never slips during rowing.

The strength of the bungee, the elastic that pulls the strap back, is optimized so that it does not provide extra resistance but still smoothly pulls the strap back into the trainer as soon as you move forward. This happens in one fluid motion, without the bungee feeling like a pull or the strap 'jerking' during this movement.

Tank frame effortlessly withstands the most powerful stroke
The steel frame above the tank endures the most force during training. You push off from the footrest and pull the cord on the pulley at the front of the frame. Because this frame is made of a single piece of bent steel, it prevents squeaking and creaking and feels super sturdy. This allows you to train explosively on a Fluid Rower without worrying about anything breaking. The tank frame is neatly concealed behind a layer of ash wood, completely in line with the rest of the rowing machine.

The R90W combines the sturdiness of steel and the robust appearance of wood. The frame near the water tank is made of steel, the rest of the rower is made of strong and durable American ash wood. The wood is sanded and lacquered twice for extra protection, even during the most intensive training sessions. Each screw hole in the wooden frame is fitted with a metal bushing. This prevents the wood from splitting or the screw from stripping during assembly, and the rowing machine from losing its sturdiness over time. Every detail of the Fluid Rower has been optimized for intensive and long-term use.
