Rowing as if you are on the water
The R30W is designed by Fluid. Rowing with a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks like you are on the water thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin Tank technology. With this unique system, you can easily adjust the resistance of the water at any time with the rotary knob.

Adjustable Fluid resistance
The water tank of the R30W consists of two separate tanks: an inner and an outer tank. The inner tank is the 'passive tank' or storage tank, the outer tank the 'active tank' or resistance tank. If you choose a higher resistance with the rotary knob while rowing, the water is moved from the passive tank to the active tank. This allows you to experience more resistance after a few rowing strokes. If you choose a lower resistance, the water is siphoned back from the active tank to the passive tank so that you experience less resistance after a few strokes.

You experience a fast and smooth resistance adjustment while you train, and you never have to determine the amount of water in the tank in advance. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been perfected and finished to the smallest details: if the water limit is not exceeded, the tank will never leak. Not even if you put it upright. Bluetooth Monitor: real-time insight into your rowing stroke
The Bluetooth Monitor provides direct insight into all your training parameters such as time, watts, calories, distance and rowing strokes per minute. In addition, the monitor automatically shows the resistance level that you have set on the rower via the rotary knob. You can also use Bluetooth to connect to training apps such as Fluid Connect, Regatta, Asensei, EXR and Kinomap.

Unique to the Fluid Bluetooth Monitor is the so-called Power Graph. This graph shows your rowing stroke in real time. You can use that information to perfect your rowing technique. The better your technique, the more you get out of your training! The ideal rowing stroke consists of six steps that together form one smooth repetitive cyclic movement.

Do you want to train on heart rate? Connect the monitor to a digital heart rate meter (available separately) via Bluetooth or have the trainer read your heart rate directly via the Fluid touch heart rate meter handle (available separately).

The seat of the R30W guarantees the most comfortable rowing training, with the perfect balance between hard and soft. Thanks to the well-thought-out, ergonomic shape and anti-slip texture, you sit firmly and comfortably in the saddle. The seat is extra raised for a comfortable entry and the comfort can be further extended with a Fluid backrest kit.

The R30W stands on raised legs for an extra comfortable entry. For extra stability, the seat runs over a double rail. The double-bearing wheels under the seat run smoothly over the rails. This means you always have a quiet rowing experience: you hear no sound other than the 'woosh' of the moving water.

Each foot firmly in place
The footrests are height-adjustable and equipped with two sturdy, separate foot straps with which you secure each foot individually. Your feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both footrests are also equipped with a specially designed 'tub' on the underside. Thanks to the design, this heel support fits perfectly around the heel of your shoe and it moves with every rowing movement. This means your foot never comes loose while rowing.

The Tunturi Platinum R30W has a premium ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra wide shape, this gives the best grip during every rowing stroke. Your body automatically adopts the best body posture so that you can put the most power. The handle is connected to a nylon belt: strong, quiet and stable. The strength of the bungee, the elastic that pulls the belt back, is optimized so that it does not give extra resistance but still pulls the belt smoothly back into the trainer as soon as you move forward. This happens in one smooth movement, without the bungee giving a pulling feeling or the belt 'stuttering' during this movement.

Tank frame effortlessly resistant to the most powerful rowing stroke
The steel frame above the tank has to endure the most force during training. You push off on the footrest and pull the pulley at the front of the frame via the cord.
