With this 1-phase plug & play freestanding induction hob TIH6010B from Tomado, you can put a delicious meal on the table in no time. The hob has 4 cooking zones. Design and operation

This freestanding induction hob has a sleek black finish. The touch control per zone is located on the surface. By pressing the cooking zone button and then the plus or minus button, you can easily set the cooking level.

Plug & Play

A hob with a 1-phase plug & play function has a "normal" 2-pin plug. This means you can connect the hob directly to a standard grounded socket. You do not need to make any adjustments in the meter cupboard for this hob.

Use pans suitable for induction

Pans that have been used on another hob, such as a gas hob, are no longer suitable for an induction hob. Therefore, purchase new pans before first use if you do not have suitable pans. The pan must contain magnetic materials. Cookware made of steel, enamelled steel, cast iron, or stainless steel will give the best results. The pans must have a flat bottom and a minimum diameter of 15 cm and a maximum diameter of 20 cm. The pan should be placed in the center of the cooking zone. When the pan is removed from the cooking zone, the induction hob will immediately stop heating.

Timer function

The hob is equipped with a timer function: set how long you want your rice or pasta to cook and don't worry about it anymore. Finally, the hob offers two special functions that make cooking even easier: residual heat indicator and a boost function.

Child lock

The child lock prevents the settings of the induction hob from being unintentionally changed. It is not possible to set a higher level or other settings, for example. It is only possible to switch off the induction hob.

Boost function

With the boost function, you can prepare your dish easily and extra quickly, perfect when you need fast and intense heating. The booster function is indicated on the control panel with the letter P.

Residual heat indicator

The residual heat indicator indicates that the glass is still too hot to touch in the area of the cooking zone. If the area of the cooking zone is still too hot, an [H] will appear in the display of the respective cooking zone.
As soon as the temperature has dropped, the [H] indicator will disappear.

Automatic pan detection

With induction cooking, you can quickly and accurately set the temperature, from gentle simmering to full heat. Extra convenient about this hob is that it automatically detects the size of the pan, heating only the pan and not the entire ceramic surface, which minimizes your energy consumption. Another advantage is that the hob cools down within seconds, making the surface safe to touch, which is safer!

Easy to clean

The surface of the hob is completely flat. Always unplug the hob before cleaning. Let the cooking zone cool down before cleaning the induction hob. Induction technology only heats the pan, not the cooking surface itself. This results in the surrounding surface remaining cool and any drips or splashes being easily and completely wiped away, resulting in a hob that is always perfectly clean.
