Forget the Triforce of Courage! In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the roles are reversed and you use the Triforce of Wisdom to save Hyrule, and its hero Link.

Wisdom > Courage > Strength

So you think you know Zelda games? Then here's a surprise waiting for you. Because where you normally have to use your Triforce of Courage as Link, to defeat Ganon with the Triforce of Strength and rescue Princess Zelda with the Triforce of Wisdom, the roles are now reversed. Link is gone! But even if the land of Hyrule has no hero, Zelda doesn't give up. By using her wisdom (and, let's face it, quite a bit of courage and strength, too), she makes her own bold move to save the land.

ECHO, Echo, echo...

Fortunately, the princess is not completely alone. She gets help from the fairy Tri, who helps her echo objects and enemies. This means Princess Zelda can create copies that assist her in her adventure. Can't reach something? Copy and stack some tables on top of each other so you can climb on them. Are there any strong enemies nearby? Have echoes of those enemies fight for you. Zelda does stand her ground in this dangerous world.

Forever connected

Now there is another way to solve problems. Tri helps you tie yourself to objects and enemies. For example, is there a rock in your way that is too big to destroy? Then tie that rock to your movements, helping you get it out of the way. Are enemies too strong to defeat? Tie them to you and "lure" them into an abyss. In this way you solve the numerous problems of this game in a creative way. What combinations can you come up with?

A big world

Of course, the land of Hyrule is once again large and full of dangers, puzzles and adventure. But not everyone you meet is a bad guy. Meet the inhabitants of Kakariko Village, talk to the Gorons at the Eldin volcano, or learn from the ladies of the Gerudo tribe. The Zora can also be found in the game, but things don't go so well between the river tribe and the sea tribe. Can you solve these problems? And if the world gets too big to walk, just ride a horse, right? You have the whole of Hyrule to explore.
