What should you pay attention to when buying a garment steamer? Steam Production and Steam Direction Steam production is the amount of steam a garment steamer emits. The higher the steam production, the more powerful the device. For example, a garment steamer with high steam production is more suitable for thick fabrics. For removing light wrinkles, we recommend a continuous steam production of at least 25 grams per minute. This Luxury Garment Steamer has a steam production of 30 grams per minute. This makes it an ideal device for quickly and easily de-wrinkling garments, and it is one of the most powerful handheld steamers on the market. Not all garment steamers can be used horizontally, as water might leak onto your clothes. STEAMRS' Luxury Garment Steamer can be used both vertically and horizontally. This is ideal for steaming collars, sleeves, and cuffs. The device is designed so that you can hold it upside down and turn it however you want; no water will come out of the reservoir. Water Reservoir Capacity and Water Usage A handheld garment steamer is small and therefore does not have a very large water tank. A larger water tank would mean more weight, which would not be convenient to hold or to take in your suitcase, for example. With the STEAMR's 100 ml water reservoir, the garment steamer remains light and compact. This allows you to steam approximately 2 or 3 garments without refilling the water tank.
