With 'Finding Nemo', a new genre was born: fast swimming and diving action mixed with adventure and puzzle elements for all console versions. The gameplay closely follows the story of the film, allowing players to explore picturesque underwater locations and meet the characters from the film, from hungry sharks to fast turtles. All games were developed in close cooperation with Pixar Animation Studios. The 3D models used in the Xbox and GameCube versions are the original models from the film, provided by Pixar to the developers, Travellers Tales. This allows the games to capture the underwater adventure so authentically that the integrated film clips are almost indistinguishable from the gameplay itself – no other licensed product immerses the player as deeply into the film's action. ...
