This allows you to view all information about this smoke detector in the free Tuya / Smart Life app on your tablet or smartphone. This smart smoke detector is connectable and expandable for alerting throughout the house. This smoke detector also works perfectly without the app.

This smoke detector works on the Zigbee protocol, which means it uses a minimal amount of energy, guaranteeing a long battery life of 12 months. After installing the smoke detector, you will automatically receive a reminder when it's time to replace the battery.

This smoke detector works on the open Zigbee protocol. Compared to Wi-Fi, Zigbee has a larger range, lower power consumption, and is also more stable. Furthermore, a router can only handle a maximum number of connected devices. The Zigbee bridge counts as only 1 device, but numerous devices can be connected to it.

Smoke detector obligation from July 1, 2022

From July 1, 2022, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to have a smoke detector on every living floor in your house and in enclosed spaces through which an escape route passes. The Building Decree will be amended, making it a legal requirement to comply. This applies to both owner-occupied and rental properties, and both existing and new construction.
