Also, when the motion sensor is connected to the Security Center in the Hue app, you get a notification when motion is detected in your home.

Speaking of the Hue app: via your smartphone or tablet, you set exactly which lamps turn on when which sensor is activated. You can even see in the app when a sensor was last activated. And with the included Philips Hue Bridge, you connect the sensors and lamps together. This gives you access to all sorts of smart home security features. For example, you set light or sound notifications, automatic schedules for your lighting, and you have the option to further expand your security or smart lighting system.
