The fi-8950 is optimized for intensive use. With a generous automatic document feeder capacity of 750 and a high speed of 150 ppm, this scanner is designed for continuous scanning of large volumes of documents.

Consistent performance is guaranteed by the fast USB 3.2 or Gigabit LAN connectivity and the fact that the wide 105° opening angle and internal LED lights simplify maintenance.

Jams are avoided and time is saved thanks to advanced paper protection features such as staple detection in documents and automatic skew correction. The intelligent multi-feed function also understands when to stop for labels, sticky notes, or photos, and when not to.

Many different types of documents can be processed without hassle or interruption thanks to the two feeding paths: the classic U-shaped ADF (automatic document feeder) and the straight-through path that accepts documents up to 1.25 mm thick. And mixed batches are not a problem thanks to the automatic profile selection function.

RICOH image scanners have industry-leading OCR accuracy rates and exceptional image quality. This is achieved through a combination of our unique Clear Image Capture technology and the PaperStream IP driver, which also removes noise and optimizes file sizes for cheaper storage.

The RICOH fi-8950 offers a complete package for high-volume scanning. The hardware comes with its own PaperStream software, but can be flexibly deployed with any other capture application. This hardware is also optimized for use with the industry-leading PaperStream Capture Pro software. Differentiated service plans and consumables and spare parts at fixed costs provide predictable operating costs. Options for post-printing on the back and front are also available.
