The maple wood core of this cue is treated with a specially developed carbon. This makes the cue well protected against impact damage such as dents and scratches. It also counteracts the natural changes in the wood, the cue retains its shape longer and does not deform as quickly. The carbon coating protects the wood from moisture and permanent dirt.
