Frequently Asked Questions

Are the individual parts dishwasher safe?
Some parts, such as the kneading bowl and lid, can occasionally be cleaned in the dishwasher at a low temperature. However, other accessories (dough hook, pressing screw, molds, etc.) must be cleaned by hand, as dishwasher salt can damage the surfaces.

The water is not added automatically in the automatic program. What can I do?
Make sure the water reservoir is filled before selecting the program. During installation, you must act quickly, as the device may switch to standby mode and reset the settings if the steps take too long. Also check whether the integrated scale is tared correctly, as the pump only supplies water when the scale registers a weight.

My noodles have fringes. Is that normal?
Yes, slight edges or a rough surface help the pasta to absorb the sauce better. If the noodles look too smooth, there may be too much water in the dough. You can add a little flour through the filler opening during use to balance the mixture.

How long can the pasta be stored?
Fresh pasta can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Pasta without egg can be dried for up to a year, provided it is stored airtight. Fresh egg pasta can also be frozen; put the pasta directly into boiling water without thawing.
