PHREEZE PHR-1682 Laptop charger

Phreeze charger suitable for the MacBook Pro with MagSafe 2 connection. This 85W power adapter is magnetic and has a T-shape. This is the type 2 adapter variant that has a T-shaped connector, not to be confused with the type 1 variant that has an L-shape. Use it with the PRO laptops 15 inch from 2012 to mid 2015.

Which adapter do I need?

There are two different types of adapter to distinguish: Type 1 and Type 2. The difference lies in the shape of the magnetic cup. Initially, the laptops were charged with a Type 1 connector (cylindrical L-angle) . Consumers with a Retina or Pro from mid-2012 onwards buy the adapter with the flat square connector in the shape of a T (Type 2).
