With the 8.5x magnification and 21mm objectives, you have excellent magnification in a compact housing. The aspherical optical elements and BAK 4 Porro prisms offer edge-to-edge sharpness. The optical elements are also fully multi-coated, ensuring high light transmission. Your observation will be even better thanks to the Pentax Convergent Lens Optical System Engineering (CLOSE) system. This automatically adjusts the left and right objective when the focus distance changes. For more stability, it is even possible to attach these binoculars to a tripod.
