PENTAX AD 10x36 WP Binoculars

Thanks to the new multi-layer coating of the lenses, the special prism coating, the BaK4 prism and the new light-transmitting coating, the AD WP binoculars offer sharp, clear images with excellent contrast. A-Series:
The A-series includes models with Porro and roof prisms and large lenses with a diameter of over 40 mm. Thanks to numerous lens coatings, this series offers excellent image quality and is reliable, compact, and easy to transport. Users will appreciate its practicality without compromising on quality.

New multi-coated lenses:
The multi-coated lenses allow for better light transmission and prevent stray light and ghosting. PENTAX uses multiple coatings on all lens and prism surfaces for all binoculars in its series. This treatment ensures better light transmission and thus a sharper image.

New coating for optimal light transmission:
The complex optical design of roof prism binoculars ensures reliability and compactness, but at the same time requires the highest optical precision. A special coating of the roof prism facets is essential for maximum image quality. PENTAX optimizes this quality through a new surface film technology for lenses and prisms, which ensures improved color reproduction and brightness.

BaK4 Prism:
Thanks to its excellent refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism used in all PENTAX binoculars is particularly valued for its circular exit pupil and lack of vignetting.

Special prism treatment:
In roof prism binoculars, light rays limit light transmission. This treatment prevents light loss. Unlike other manufacturers who only apply this treatment to their high-end models, PENTAX uses it on all its roof prism binoculars.

Waterproof:
PENTAX's waterproof products are fully sealed and flushed with liquid nitrogen in the laboratory. This guarantees fog-free vision even under the harshest conditions. Thanks to JIS Class 6 certification, PENTAX binoculars can even be submerged up to 1 meter deep.

Internal Focusing:
This design is ideal for waterproof models that require a completely airtight construction. It also contributes to maximum reduction in size and weight, and improves the center of gravity and reliability.

Nitrogen Purging:
Nitrogen is a chemical element and a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. It contains very little moisture and is used to free binoculars and spotting scopes from the high humidity of our environment. Due to its low humidity, nitrogen prevents condensation on the lenses of optical instruments during rapid temperature changes. Since the gas seal also has a slight overpressure, dust and other tiny particles cannot enter the instrument housing.

Large Eye Relief:
The comfortable eye relief found in almost all PENTAX binoculars allows the user to see the entire field of view clearly and comfortably. This is particularly advantageous for eyeglass wearers and allows for longer observations without eye strain.
