Because the new, larger stylus fits more like a pen in your hand, it also becomes much more comfortable to control games. You'll notice this especially in games where the touchscreen is used a lot, such as The Legend of Zelda, Spirit Tracks.

Thanks to the wider viewing angle of the Nintendo DSi XL, you can now share the gaming fun with friends and family. The action on the two screens can be easily followed by people who are not directly in front of the screens but have gathered around the player.

The Nintendo DSi XL will be launched in two colors – wine red and dark brown. Both versions feature a glossy finish on the top and a matte finish on the bottom, preventing the system from sliding when placed on a table or other smooth surface.

Each system comes pre-loaded with two software programs:

Take your time… Brain Training: Words and Pictures and Dictionary 6 in 1 with Camera Function. The system also provides direct access to the Nintendo DSi Browser, allowing users to surf the internet quickly and easily via a Wi-Fi connection.

The Nintendo DSi XL offers all the features of the original Nintendo DSi, launched in Europe in April 2009. So, with the Nintendo DSi XL, you can also download games from the Nintendo DSi Shop, take, edit, and share photos with friends and family, play with sounds, and listen to your favorite music.
