Tunnel greenhouse with zipper

This greenhouse is a so-called tunnel greenhouse of approximately 130 centimeters long, 50 centimeters wide and a height of about 60 centimeters. The greenhouse has no bottom; you put it directly on the earth where your crops are. The translucent foil makes optimal use of the heat and light from the sun, creating a microclimate with good temperature and humidity. The foil protects your plants from harmful insects and weather influences, such as wind and rain. At both ends of the foil greenhouse is a zipper, so you can open the foil easily to water your plants, for example. You can secure the rolled up foil with ribbons. In this way you also allow the seedlings to harden off, allowing them to get used to the temperature outside the greenhouse.

The curved frame of the greenhouse is made of steel tubes with plastic connecting pieces. A transparent film made of PVC goes over it. This has several advantages. This greenhouse is lightweight and relatively inexpensive, especially when compared to a glass greenhouse.
