Whether you are a car enthusiast or not, most drivers consider it important that their car looks good and functions properly. So we always make sure that there is enough gasoline in the car, that there are no dents or scratches on it and, of course, that the car is clean. But the tire pressure, we regularly forget about it. With the Dunlop tire pressure gauge, you have in your hands a tool to measure the air pressure or tire pressure in the tire of a motor vehicle. Think of your car, motorcycles and trucks.
Analog Tire Pressure Gauge
The Dunlop Tire Pressure Gauge is an analog tire pressure gauge that indicates the pressure in the tires of a motorcycle, car or truck. The gauge measures up to 7.5 kg/cm² and comes with a plastic storage box in which you can keep it safe and store it in a glove compartment if necessary. This way you will always have it at hand if needed. Thanks to an extended head at 45°, the air pressure gauge fits virtually any valve and prevents air leakage.
Why is tire pressure important?
You should definitely measure your vehicle's tire pressure every 2 months. Not only for your own safety, but also for the safety of fellow road users. When you do not have enough air pressure, and thus your tires are slack, they do not make as good contact with the road. This results in less grip, which in turn can cause an accident. In addition, with the right tire pressure, you use less fuel and thus automatically drive more economically. So be sure to use the Dunlop tire pressure gauge every 2 months to ensure your safety and that of other drivers.
How do you determine the correct tire pressure?
It sounds logical that the type of your car, motorcycle or truck determines the tire pressure, but nothing could be further from the truth. The type of car, motorcycle or truck determines the tire pressure. You can usually find this in the instruction booklet of your vehicle, on a sticker in the door or on the fuel cap. Use the Dunlop tire pressure gauge to measure the air pressure and pressure in your tires. If it's deficient, top it up yourself or drive to the nearest gas station.
