The display contains four times as many pixels as an HD display, so you'll hardly believe your eyes. Images look more realistic, and you see more detail. MacBook Air now has the advanced security and convenience of Touch ID, too. Just place your finger on the Touch ID sensor and your Mac unlocks. With your fingerprint, you can instantly access protected files, notes and system settings without entering yet another password.

Keyboard
Redesigned from start to finish.
The keyboard on the new MacBook Air features our butterfly mechanism. The keys are four times more stable than a traditional scissor mechanism, making typing more comfortable. And the ambient light sensor and individual LED-backlit keys let you type in low-light conditions.

Even though the new MacBook Air weighs just 1.25 kg, it's super fast.
