The wall fireplace has two positions that are selected fully automatically by the thermostat function of the fireplace. In this way, the fireplace saves energy and complies with the new ErP guidelines. The automatic selection of the heat settings works as follows: If the room temperature deviates more than one degree from the set desired temperature, the fireplace will heat at 2000 watts. If the room temperature deviates one degree or less from the set temperature, the fireplace automatically switches back to 1000 watts. When the fireplace reaches the desired temperature, it switches off.
