The gas-petrol generators from the DUAL FUEL series of the "Könner & Söhne" brand are currently the most popular products among customers due to their cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness. The generator can run on both petrol and liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane).

Using the generator on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) extends the life of the engine. All necessary gas cylinder connections are present: the generator is equipped with a gas hose and two pressure regulators. The generator is not suitable for connection to a gas pipeline. If necessary, gas-petrol models can easily be switched to petrol. The air-cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke petrol engine from K&S ensures stable and reliable operation of the generator.

The unique feature of this Könner & Söhne® generator series is that it can only be started and used on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). No petrol needs to be added to start.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes everything needed to connect the generator to a gas cylinder according to DIN 477:
1. The pressure regulator with DIN 477 gas cylinder connection, which reduces the pressure from the gas cylinder (1.7-17 bar) to 30-50 mbar.
2. The 1.5 m long gas hose for connection to the generator.
3. The zero-pressure regulator (in the generator), which only opens when the engine creates negative pressure and thus regulates the gas flow.

Environmentally friendly engine

Powerful engines from K&S meet the latest EURO V emission standards. Each engine is equipped with a unique serial number, which allows us to monitor production and service quality. By using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel, the emission of harmful exhaust gases into the atmosphere is significantly reduced.

By using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel, the fuel costs for the operation of the generator are significantly reduced and the cost difference between a petrol generator and the hybrid generator from the K&S DUAL FUEL series is quickly recouped.

Versatile

Both a portable gas cylinder and a stationary gas storage (gas container) can be used. Connection by a certified specialist. The pressing pressure must not exceed 16 bar.

Improved engine efficiency

When used on LPG, the engine produces less vibration, which ensures continuous and stable operation of the generator and a longer engine life.

User-friendly ergonomic control panel

The convenient, ergonomic control panel enables easy operation of the entire system and requires no additional skills. The modern, intelligent LED display continuously shows the number of operating hours, the current frequency and the output voltage. The display information helps to correctly estimate the system load and to carry out maintenance on the generator in a timely manner, which extends its service life.

Steel tank

"Könner & Söhnen" generators are equipped with an enlarged steel fuel tank, which extends the operating time per tank filling. The fuel gauge is located on the fuel tank for easier use.

Improved vibration damping system

All models of the "Könner & Söhnen" generators are equipped with a double anti-vibration system that ensures quiet and continuous operation of the generator. The engines are mounted on high-quality rubber cushions. The reinforced steel frame is equipped with rubber feet for extra protection against vibration, slipping and corrosion.

**In transient modes, the generator frequency may change briefly. This means that during normal generator operation, a deviation from the frequency indicator is permitted. Depending on the type of generator, the engine and the operating mode, the frequency can be 49-54 Hz.

*** Fuel consumption depends on many factors, such as load, fuel quality, season, altitude and the technical condition of the generator.

NOTE! This product is sold without engine oil and petrol. Add engine oil for air-cooled 4-stroke petrol engines before first use. We recommend oil with a viscosity of 10W-30 or 10W-40. Check the oil level before each start. Use only unleaded petrol with an octane number of 90-95 and an ethanol content of up to 10%.
