Play together with the Joy-Con

When you attach the two Joy-Con controllers to the Joy-Con holder, you can use them like a traditional controller. Each Joy-Con also forms a stand-alone controller. If you give one of the Joy-Con controllers to a friend, you can play multiplayer games together anywhere. You can play games by holding one Joy-Con vertically or horizontally, but it is also possible to hold one Joy-Con in each hand. Attach the Joy-Con wristbands found in the package to the controller and put the straps around your wrist to use the Joy-Con's motion controls. Holding the Joy-Con vertically makes it easy to use the SL and SR buttons as well.

A touch that's more than a vibration

Imagine the Joy-Con as a glass of ice cubes. Thanks to the HD vibration feature, you feel how the ice cubes touch each other as you tilt and rotate the Joy-Con. One ice cube, two... Recognize shape, movement and distance

The infrared motion camera in the right Joy-Con can recognize the shape, motion and distance of objects. For example, the camera can tell the difference between the hand gestures stone, paper and scissors. This allows you to experience unique gameplay you've never seen before!
