Control your front door from your smartphone
Give your current audio or video intercom an upgrade with the Ring Intercom. You connect the compact, white box to your existing intercom system. With the handy instructions in the Ring app that's not difficult at all. Just make sure first that the brand of your intercom is compatible with Ring. Was the installation successful? Now you can answer the doorbell or let people into the building via your smartphone. Thanks to the notification on your phone, you never miss anyone who rings your doorbell. Handy when you're not at home, but also if you have difficulty walking, for example.
Never miss a package
You probably know the feeling: you want to go into town, but you are expecting a package. Do you want to stay home so the package is not delivered to the neighbors? Not with the Ring Intercom. When the doorbell rings, you can speak to the package deliverer via the Ring app - wherever you are at that moment. For example, you can tell them to leave the package on your apartment doormat. Then you open the front door of your building via the app and let the delivery man in. Convenient for you, for your neighbors and for package deliverers!
Access for those you trust
With the "automatically authenticated guest" feature, you send a guest key to friends and family. This allows them to let themselves into the building with their smartphone. Whether you want them to have access on certain days, within a certain time period or 24 hours a day: you manage the schedule of their guest key in the Ring app. You can also revoke access at any time in the Ring app. That way, you're always in control. Ring Intercom, by the way, is available without a subscription. So you have no extra costs and no obligations. Which is nice.
