The Hoya Pro ND Ex 1000 is a gray filter that blocks 10 stops of light across the entire image. This allows for longer shutter speeds or compensation for highlights. This gives you more control over depth of field, for example.
These filters are made of clear optical glass for optimal image quality. The special metallic ACCU-ND coating is applied to both sides of the glass and ensures that the color remains neutral.
The Hoya PRO ND EX 1000 is the successor to the HOYA PRO ND 1000.
