About the Submersible Pump Gardena 9000 300W Black (9040-20) Automatic operation

The float switch ensures that the pump is automatically switched on when a specific level is exceeded. When the level drops, the pump automatically switches off again. The switching-on and switching-off heights can be individually adjusted by locking the float switch on the pump housing at one of the three different heights.

Manual continuous operation

By placing the switch in the housing, the pump can be set for manual continuous operation.
