The Sirocco is a wooden lounge set with light grey sand-colored cushions. The lounge set has beautiful rounded backrests. In this lounge set, you can relax and dine. The lounge table has a beautiful light-colored tabletop, which, together with the wood, gives the lounge set a warm appearance.
Material
The frame of the lounge set is made of acacia wood. Acacia wood is low-maintenance, but if you want the wood not to discolor, it is advisable to treat the wood. The tabletop is made of fibrestone. This material consists of a mix of glass fibers, resin, and cement. This makes the material lighter than ceramic or natural stone. Cleaning the tabletop is therefore very easy.
Cushions
The included seat and back cushions are made of high-quality polyester. The cushions have a zipper, so the cover can be easily washed by hand. The cushions are not water-resistant and can be stored in the shed or a cushion box after use. However, the cushions are provided with a water-repellent coating. This is especially practical if, for example, a drink is spilled on the cushion. You can easily wipe off the moisture.
Maintenance
It is advised to treat acacia wood about twice a year with the correct maintenance products. You can easily do this by cleaning the lounge set with a soapy water solution of green soap or soda. After cleaning the acacia wood, the wood must be protected against weather influences again. This can easily be done by treating the wood with teak oil or teak shield.
Covering
We recommend not covering wooden garden furniture. If you do want to cover it, make sure your acacia wooden garden furniture is completely dry. Additionally, ensure good ventilation under the cover to prevent mold and wood rot. It is also advisable to create a slight slope in the cover so that water can run off. This is easily done by placing an adjustable cover support under the protective cover.
