Material
The frame of the lounge set is made of low-maintenance aluminum with a taupe-colored coating. The backrest is made of grey sand-colored rope. This rope is comparable to rope used in shipping. The rope has a rubber core inside with multiple polyester threads for strength. Around the rubber core is solution-dyed polyester rope. This means the rope is colored through and through and discolors much less quickly.

Maintenance
Aluminum has the advantage of being low-maintenance. If the aluminum becomes dirty, for example from splashing rainwater, you can easily clean it with a soapy solution of green soap and a soft cloth. The rope is easy to clean with a soft brush and the rope cleaner from Garden Impressions. After cleaning the rope thoroughly with the cleaner, rinse with plenty of water. When the rope is dry again, it must be treated with a protector. The protector ensures that your rope is water-repellent again. It is advisable to do this at least twice a season, especially on the tangible parts.
