Material

The rope has a rubber core inside with multiple polyester threads for strength. Around the rubber core is solution-dyed polyester rope. This means the rope is colored all the way through and fades much less quickly.

Maintenance

The comfortable cushions are not 100% waterproof, but they do have a water-repellent coating. This is especially practical if, for example, a drink is spilled on the cushion.
