Clear Image Capture
Clear Image Capture is a groundbreaking proprietary technology innovation, first applied in the Fujitsu fi-8000 series. True image rendering and color shift prevention ensure leading OCR accuracy rates and image quality that surpasses the capabilities of standard CIS or CCD. And because the optical technology is more efficient, power consumption for each scan is lower. Clear Image Capture also enables the capture of the widest range of document types from 20 g/m² - 465 g/m² - including A4 envelopes, cards, passports, or booklets up to 7 mm thick.

Automatic Separation Control
Our patented Automatic Separation Control ensures perfect feeding, allowing organizations to confidently scan larger volumes and mixed batches of documents. By detecting their weight and automatically adjusting and recalibrating the torque, it prevents misfeeds and mid-scan interruptions. This guarantees stable feeding for various document sizes and prevents users from wasting time sorting different document types into separate batches. It also enables the 100-sheet automatic document feeder and higher speeds for more efficient scanning in high-throughput workgroups.

Leading paper protection
The fi-8000 series protects documents from damage using innovative new technology. Patented Image Monitoring identifies documents that are too skewed in real-time and stops the scanning process before they can be damaged. iSOP (excluding fi-8150 and fi-8250 models) does the same when it detects abnormal feeding sounds. And the delay detection ensures that documents are fed at the expected speed.

Specialized passport capture capability
The patented feeding mechanism ensures secure capture of passports without a carrier sheet†, while MRZ recognition ensures consistently accurate capture of personal data.

Enhanced multi-feed detection
Unnecessary interruptions to the scanning process are eliminated by automatically recognizing and ignoring cards, stickers, and small defined attachments. This patented technology is an evolution of standard multi-feed detection, which stops when more than one sheet is detected during feeding.

High speed, high throughput
Thanks to its fast startup time and duplex 90 ppm, the fi-8000 series delivers an extremely efficient scanning process for ultimate workgroup productivity. The integration of USB 3.2 and Gigabit LAN connectivity also enables fast file transfers.

Overscan Control*
Automatically adjust the scan area to prevent image loss on skewed documents, so you never have to rescan skewed documents again. Three precisely placed sensors detect document edges and adjust the scan area, even if it's placed at a skewed angle. Users can scan with confidence knowing that the entire document is scanned every time and no part of the image is ever lost. *Excluding fi-8150 and fi-8250 models

Urethane rollers
The urethane rollers resist oil absorption from NCR paper, unlike EPDM rollers which can swell and affect feeding torque. By maintaining their integrity, misfeeds and jams are prevented for consistent feeding performance.

Stacker
The ergonomically designed stacker neatly stacks scanned documents, making them faster and easier to archive after scanning.
