Fujifilm X-T5
Photography First
The X-T5 is the latest addition to the X Series. It features fifth-generation technological advancements, including a 40.2MP back-illuminated sensor, X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR, and the high-speed X-Processor 5 image processing engine – all within a compact body that is smaller and lighter than its predecessor.
The new 1.84 million-dot, three-way tilting LCD screen makes shooting in portrait or at waist-level more comfortable than ever. All these features and capabilities are housed in a body weighing just 557g, making it lighter and more compact than the X-T4.
The X-T5 is the ideal companion for a wide range of photographic genres, from street and documentary photography, where its portability is a major advantage, to landscape and portrait photography that demands the highest image quality. Other features that enhance the photographic experience include the ability to record 6.2K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit video, a 0.8x viewfinder magnification, a 3.69 million-dot electronic viewfinder, and dual SD card slots.
Features:
Pixel Shift Multi Shot
This model uses in-body image stabilization to precisely shift the image sensor, automatically capturing 20 images with a single press of the shutter button. The dedicated software (Pixel Shift Combiner) processes the captured images into a 160MP image, ideal for commercial photography and digital archiving.
AI-powered autofocus
The new image processing engine features a subject-detection autofocus function developed using deep learning technology. It automatically detects and tracks not only human faces/eyes but also animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains to maintain focus.
Enhanced in-body image stabilization
The camera features a completely new 5-axis in-body image stabilization system. Thanks to the new processor and a new detection and control function, it offers a 7.0 EV boost.
Dials
The X-T5 features three dials on the top plate to control ISO sensitivity, shutter speed, and exposure compensation. Users can check and change camera settings before turning the camera on, similar to the aperture ring on most XF lenses.
A new way to shoot
A new feature of the X-T5 is the 1.84 million-dot, three-way tilting LCD screen. It allows shooting in portrait or at waist-level, offering users more flexibility in various shooting situations.
Film Simulations
The X-T5 includes 19 Film Simulation modes, including the "Nostalgic Neg" mode, characterized by high color saturation and soft tones. Users can use Film Simulation presets developed for various subjects and scenes, as if selecting a film.
