Wi-Fi 7 and smart home – the next generation on the cable connection
With the FRITZ!Box 6670 Cable, AVM is bringing the first all-in-one router for the cable connection with Wi-Fi 7 and Zigbee to the market. Wi-Fi 7 is even faster and clearly more efficient: the FRITZ!Box 6670 Cable can effortlessly handle multiple parallel applications such as 4K streams, video calls, and cloud applications. A special highlight is the integrated Zigbee wireless standard for a versatile smart home. The built-in DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem for lightning-fast gigabit speeds is suitable for all cable connections. Innovative Mesh Wi-Fi functions and a telephone system for cordless phones complete the portfolio of the new FRITZ!Box Cable. It also has a built-in TV tuner that allows the TV signal to be streamed via Wi-Fi in the home network.

The new wireless generation Wi-Fi 7
The FRITZ!Box 6670 Cable brings the fast wireless speeds of Wi-Fi 7 to the cable connection. The new Wi-Fi 7 standard offers all advantages on the already used 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands and supports powerful Mesh Wi-Fi. The combination of low latency and high throughput ensures powerful wireless communication for future real-time applications such as virtual reality, cloud computing, and gaming. Current applications also benefit from faster connections – even at greater distances and for many mobile devices.

Smart home – hub via DECT ULE and Zigbee, prepared for Matter
Via the FRITZ!Box 6670 Cable, Zigbee LED lamps and DECT ULE lamps from different manufacturers can be effortlessly integrated into the FRITZ!Box smart home and controlled via an app. The integration of Matter, the new IP-based smart home standard, is planned. This allows smart home apps from other manufacturers to control FRITZ! smart devices centrally within their app. Smart home devices such as the FRITZ!DECT 302/301 radiator thermostat, the FRITZ!DECT 200/210 smart plugs, the FRITZ!DECT 440 switch, or the FRITZ!DECT 500 LED lamp are controlled via the integrated DECT base.

Convenience and versatile multimedia functions
The integrated telephone system allows an analog phone and up to six cordless DECT phones (e.g., FRITZ!Fon) to be registered. Five integrated answering machines, local and online phone books, and a wealth of convenience features complete the extensive offering. The media server streams movies, music, and photos within the home network. An additional integrated TV tuner streams up to four digital, free-to-air TV channels from the cable connection to computers, smartphones, and tablets. Furthermore, the FRITZ!Box 6670 Cable has further connection options such as a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports. This allows network devices such as printers and storage media to be easily integrated into the home network.
