Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows that the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) wants to take control of the wizarding world. On his own, he cannot stop him, so he enlists the help of magic zoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). The latter, along with a team of wizards, witches and a brave Muggle baker, embarks on a dangerous mission in which they encounter old and new fable creatures and face Grindelwald's growing army of followers. But how long can Dumbledore stand aside when the stakes are so high?
