They ensure that he is not hanged and eventually gets the princess. - Episode 3: The Ugly Duckling (23:50) The poor swan chick, hatched in a duck's nest, has to suffer so much. He is bullied, insulted, and mocked. He is dying, both from hunger and cold, and is almost caught by a hunting dog.
