Panasonic eneloop batteries combine all the benefits of a normal household battery with those of a rechargeable battery. They are universal, solar pre-charged, powerful and can be recharged up to 2,100 times. An important feature of eneloop batteries is the voltage level, which is kept above 1.1 V for a long time and only drops below this limit when the battery is almost completely discharged. This can prevent devices using rechargeable batteries from shutting down prematurely or indicating that the battery charge is too low. Eneloop rechargeable batteries can therefore be used longer on a single charge (e.g., for more photos per charge cycle). Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, they are characterized by low self-discharge. Even after 10 years of storage, eneloop batteries still have more than 70 percent of their pre-charged energy.
