Filters
There are different types of filters, these are used to add a specific effect to the photo, sometimes a specific color, tint or reflection effect. The most commonly used filters are the UV and CP (circular polarizing) filters.

UV Filters
These are the most commonly used filters, they filter UV radiation from the air. These filters often ensure better quality photos. However, that is not the reason why most photographers purchase these filters. They mainly use these filters to protect the lenses. Scratches on the lens surface are extremely annoying and sometimes also visible in the photo. To reduce the chance of this, you screw a filter in front of the lens opening. You would rather replace a filter than an often much more expensive lens. You can leave a UV filter on the lens at all times because there is almost no light loss.

MRC
The Multi Resistant Coating is a hard and scratch-resistant layer. MRC combines optical quality, maximum reflection reduction with simple filter cleaning. Water and moisture as well as dust and dirt particles hardly adhere to the filter surface. The protection of the MR coating guarantees the high optical quality of your B&W filter for even longer.
