BS 445 Connect - Body analysis scale A body analysis scale with trendy design! The body analysis scale BS 445 measures your exact weight by means of 4 accurate DMS sensors. In addition to weight, the BS 445 also measures your fat percentage, water percentage and muscle and bone mass. To manage your weight properly, the daily calorie requirement is also determined. The body analysis scale features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen and automatic recognition of up to 8 users. The BS 445 stores up to 30 measurement results per user in its internal memory. The scale features a convenient "step-on" power-on technology. Via a Bluetooth Smart data connection to a suitable smartphone or tablet, you send all measurement data automatically to the VitaDock + App and to VitaDock Online. So you always have a clear overview of your measurement results! Perform body analysis The body analysis comes about by current that goes from one foot, through the body, to the other foot. To perform the body analysis, we do not recommend using it if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other medical implants. Please note that due to the use of medication, the indication of body fat and fluid percentage may be inaccurate or cannot be measured. To perform body analysis, it is important to set and select the profile prior to weighing. Calculating the BMI The body analysis scale has a maximum load capacity, this varies by type of scale. All scales that calculate BMI (Body Mass Index) have a maximum measurement range of a BMI up to 32. If your BMI value is above this, the scale cannot measure it or do a body analysis. If the readings are above the measurement range, this is indicated by the message ERRL. Initializing the scale Always place the scale on a solid and level floor. When you weigh for the first time or you start weighing after moving the scale, it is important to initialize the scale. This causes the scale to zero in on itself and your weighing results will be more accurate. Initializing is done by briefly pressing your foot into the center of the top of the scale. This causes '0.0' to appear on the display. The scale then turns off automatically.
