FRITZ!Powerline 1220E turns every socket into two fast and secure gigabit network connections. Gigabit Powerline up to 1,200 Mbit/s and the latest 2 x 2 MIMO technology enable significantly more robust connections, greater range, and higher throughput. The powerline adapter thus enables demanding broadband applications anywhere in the home.

Class 1200 Powerline
The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E reliably and quickly connects network devices such as computers, televisions, or game consoles, even over long distances in the home network. The adapter has 2 ultra-fast gigabit LAN ports. With the network connection via the power cable, long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings are effortlessly overcome. Compared to powerline adapters of the 500 and 200 Mbit/s class, FRITZ!Powerline 1220E provides significantly more transfer capacity and more robust connections – with optimal energy efficiency. This allows various demanding broadband applications to be used in parallel.

Powerful 2x2 MIMO technology
FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is ideal for broadband-intensive network applications such as streaming HD videos (also in 3D), fast internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection, and video on demand. Even long distances do not affect the quality of the transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology, thanks to the simultaneous use of two wire pairs, enables up to 60% greater range in the power grid and ensures clearly more stable connections and gross transfer rates of up to 1,200 Mbit/s. If both wire pairs cannot be used simultaneously, the automatic selection of the faster wire pair (Diversity) ensures robust powerline transmission.

Simple and secure ex-works
Unique to AVM's FRITZ!Powerline products is the individual encryption ex-works, which enables quick and secure commissioning. FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is simply plugged into the socket at the desired location and connected to the device to be connected. The adapter is then securely added to the existing powerline network at the push of a button. The connection is automatically secure with individual AES 128-bit encryption. FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is compatible with current devices in the 1,200, 500, and 200 Mbit/s classes. Updates are easily installed via the FRITZ!Powerline program or via the FRITZ!Box user interface.
